My Students

We have some of the most amazing students in our school! While many face some unbelievable challenges each and every day, my kids come to school ready to learn! My students are excited about math, especially Station Fridays.

At a high-needs school in Brooklyn, my students face an unimaginable range of challenges on a daily basis.

One thing that is constant in their life is school. Each day, these students come to class and try their best, despite any obstacles they may face. It is hard to get students excited about learning when they are faced with poverty and homelessness.

My Project

For this project, I am hoping to get a rolling cart and supplies that I can use to create a portable classroom. Instead of rotating 90 middle schoolers as a school community we have decided to rotate the teachers.

It is imperative to have a rolling cart that can be easily transitioned from one class to another without making changes in the classroom and abide by CDC guidelines while we are still in the pandemic.

This method of organization will allow students to receive quality instruction with all the materials needed.
