Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to create engaging and hands-on activities, where my students of all abilities, will learn about different cultures and celebrate diversity through art and design.

My wish list for this project will support my students academic, cognitive and social/emotional development.

The activities included in this project, will encourage the children to learn about diversity and differences. The students will celebrate diversity and build acceptance/appreciation of differences through art, text and design.

In our classroom, the children engage, play, create and learn in centers everyday. With the multicultural building blocks, multicultural crafts, kids around the world memory match game and mix and match multicultural people, the children will engage in play while learning about differences in people and different cultures around the world.
