This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Middle school is a tough time, many new skills need to be learned - such as how to be prepared for class. However, not all my students have the basic materials that they need to be successful. Basic classroom supplies should be provided (pencil sharpener, pencils) and a simple three ring binder to help teach students to be accountable for their work - and grade.
I would like my grade 7 & 8th grade classroom to be structured in a way that promotes accountability and academic discipline.
When my students have the materials they need, they always rise to the occasion.
