My Students

This year has been very challenging to say the least. Our students have been switched from blended learning to all remote, to full time in class, back to all remote throughout this year. Throughout it all these little 5 year olds have always had smiles ear to ear saying they are excited to be with us and happy to learn!

Not only have our students been working with us but their parents have been right their by their side.

Literally during remote teaching they are sitting right by their side helping them. They also, have adjusted to any changes and accepted anything we ask of them.

My Project

Every student will receive a set of read alouds to share with their family. As a family they can read the stories together. They can discuss story elements, character feelings and connect to the stories like they have learned to do in class.

Reading at home daily fosters a love for reading and by purchasing books for the students for home use this can be done.

We know our students would benefit greatly by having a set of books at home similar to the stories they read in the classroom
