Help me give my students a Teacher’s Tool Kit. This project was designed with heart and is full of materials, like ink cartridges, card stock, and water colors, needed in first grade for social emotional development, student recognition and accomplishments, and our highly anticipated art time.

My Project

First grade students need joyous moments throughout the school day. This project will provide my students with social emotional development, recognition and self-accomplishment.

Art supplies are highly anticipated.

The permanent markers, black markers, and watercolors are used for art projects. We love making turkeys, reindeer, bunnies, snails, and birds. The cardstock cards and tissue paper are for special Mother’s Day projects and for students to make seasonal sun catchers with a stain glass effect. My student love drawing paper for independent choice time and guided self-directed art.

The mounting putty and packing tape will be used for hanging student art, star student posters, amongst other projects. Stickers are an absolute treasure to students and will be used in an array of ways. I use them on summative assessments, reading and math extensions, and so much more. Adding seasonal stickers will be an absolute joy for students.

I love how much my students love school. Birthday crowns and birthday pencils display recognition and excitement for their special day. The brown envelopes will be used to hold their tooth for when a tooth is lost at school and a sticker to wear as a conversation starter and displaying excitement.

Last but certainly not the least is the thank you cards and printing supplies. Students love writing letters to me. I use the blank thank you cards for writing responses and the printing supplies for holiday projects and special student needs.
