My Project

My students need those joyous moments throughout the school day. This project will give them social emotional development, recognition and self-accomplishment, and extra art tools that we need and use throughout the school year.

The multi-function timers are a huge hit and I need a few more for a class set.

Students use them independently for fluency practice, rocket math, and in their own creative ways. The watercolors, watercolor paper, and black markers will be used for art projects. We love making turkeys, bunnies, and birds. The card stock and tissue paper are for special Mother's Day projects and for students to personalize a birthday card for every birthday throughout the year.

The mounting putty and packing tape will be used for hanging student art, star student posters, amongst other projects. Stickers are an absolute treasure to students and will be used in an array of ways. I use them on weekly spelling tests, math and reading extensions, and so much more. Adding this collection for seasonal use will be an absolute joy for students. The cupcake accents display student birthdays all school year long and enhance joy and conversation about their special day. Students wear birthday hats on their birthday to display recognition and excitement.

I love how much my students love school. I am looking for a new way this year for additional social-emotional development. The manilla envelope will be used to hold their tooth for when a tooth is lost at school and a sticker to wear as a conversation starter and displaying excitement. Last but certainly not the least is the thank you cards and printing supplies. Students love writing letters to me. I will use the cards for responses and printing supplies for holidays and special student needs.
