My Project
In my K through 2nd-grade classroom, I usually create my own worksheets to better support student learning, but I do not always have the time it takes to complete these detailed tasks. I would like to be able to provide more resources to help my students learn in reading and math and to learn about their culture. I am requesting gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers so that I can purchase literacy, math, and cultural diversity worksheets to help fill in the gaps in our current curriculum. I also teach at a school with a diverse population of students. I want to celebrate their culture by learning about their customs through articles and art activities that are available from Teachers Pay Teachers so they can both engage and share their knowledge with each other.
I would like to be able to provide a wide range of resources to keep my students more engaged while learning.
My students in Special Ed rely on differentiation to fully comprehend concepts taught such as phonics in reading and addition in math. If I can purchase supplemental resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to provide my students with the materials they need to accomplish their tasks.
