Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 22 inquisitive fourth-grade, gifted students, in my virtual classroom. They are full of curiosity, energy, and love to learn.
My students come from diverse backgrounds, but ultimately they all share a love of learning about the world around them!
My goal is to keep that love for learning and inquisitive fire in them by providing them an online classroom environment that promotes learning and create active life long learners. Ultimately, I want to prepare students for the real world and encourage individual learning and self-growth, especially during these unprecedented times.
My Project
This year has been extra challenging planning for assignments. I have had a hard time finding sufficient and quality materials to be able to teach online, especially since I am teaching 100% of my students online.
Having access to Teachers Pay Teachers will give me access to digital educational materials that I can readily use and be able to assign as a digital document to my students.
I have used Teacher Pay Teachers for many years and it has many wonderful projects and assignments that provide perfect extensions to my lessons. I teach gifted students and I feel I find myself looking for resources that extend and provide the challenge that they need, especially digital resources. Teachers pay teachers has the perfect readily available resources I would need to continue to motivate and challenge my students.
