Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Middle School...do you remember the days you spent in Middle School? Hormones raging, trying to figure out who you were, knowing that you knew more than your parents and definitely more than any teacher who stood in front of you! Now, fast forward to the Middle School kids of today. It's the same but add the added pressure of social media, any information at your fingertips with your phone and both parents working, if they are lucky enough to have both parents in the home. Add to all of this, a unique way of learning. Maybe they need something repeated ten times. Maybe they need things shown to them or maybe they just can't sit still to save their life. It could be visual or auditory processing, maybe a bit of autism, bi-polar, or a combo of them all.

Each student is unique.

They desire to be outside and part of a group. When put into a situation outside of the all-to-often school scene of sit at a desk with pencil and paperwork, these students blossom. They are able to shine and show you who they really are.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing resource that has everything under the sun. The amount of time it takes to create engaging lessons in this environment that we find ourselves in is eminence. When utilizing this site- we are able to support other teachers in what they create and help all students learn in this online environment. Students will receive engaging lessons for both math and language arts that are interactive and engaging.

Teachers Pay Teachers frees up precious time so I am able to individualize instruction for all of my students.

Thank you for your help and supporting not only my but my students as well.
