Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 41 enthusiastic and driven students who love hands-on projects as their method of learning. Despite school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my students continue to show a tremendous effort in closing the gap in their learning.

Students in high-risk and lower economic status area codes such as Homestead, FL deserve resources that will help them achieve their full potential.

Each child faces different obstacles and their levels vary, but they all show great promise!

My Project

With this gift card, I can choose activities and projects that align perfectly with the lessons in class. Students can receive further help with the purchase of interactive journals or receive hands-on projects that will make learning fun. Students who are English Language Learners can receive additional help with their language learning skills using readable worksheets and graphic organizers.

Using this purchase, it will greatly benefit a first year teacher like me who often struggles finding free resources to help my students be engaged.

For many students, reading and writing is not their favorite subject but this purchase will help significantly increase their motivation for learning.
