Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a special education teacher and I teach students that are 3-5 year olds. My students have developmental difficulties such as speech and vision problems, limited motor skills, sensory processing difficulties and/or special learning challenges. These kiddos come from low-income communities and face challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite their challenges, my students come to class happy and eager to learn.

They love to be a part of the class and make new friends. I love teaching special education and give them new experiences as well as new exposures that help enhance their learning. Being their teacher is my greatest joy, they brighten my days with their contagious smiles.

My Project

It is very exciting to see Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards as an option now! Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use in my virtual and in-person classroom. I have used Teachers Pay Teachers as a learning go-to source and find it a valuable tool to be able to reach all the learning styles of students. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students during the school year and for many years to come.
