My Students

3rd grade is such an important year- it marks the transition from ‘learning to read’ to ‘reading to learn’! My 3rd-grade students are bright and inquisitive kids who are eager to learn more about the world around them. In my room, we are voracious readers who are learning to use reading as a way to discover what we want to know. Bringing high-quality resources into my classroom to broaden student perspectives and introduce current events in a student-friendly way is vitally important to me as their teacher.

My Project

Distance Learning is no joke! But my class of incredible 3rd graders has done an amazing job meeting and exceeding my expectations for our virtual learning time! Having continual access to high-quality distance-learning materials makes all the difference during this challenging time. Even when students get to return to school, part of each day will still require at-home learning.

Teachers Pay Teachers has become an invaluable resource to us during distance learning!

Students have already been able to engage with great resources, but we will continue to need access to additional materials as distance learning continues in the winter and spring.
