This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teachers love to learn! I am requesting several texts to help grow my knowledge of the best current strategies to support bilingual students and their learning. Three of the books on my wish list will teach me about effective strategies to support the bilingualism of my students in my classroom. The fourth book will inform me about the evolution of the Spanish language within the United States and help grow my cultural competency to better support my students and their families.
By receiving these books, I will be able to continue learning more strategies and information that I will then use to help support my bilingual learners.
