My Project

At Olympic Hills, I spend my day as a literacy coach supporting teachers grow their knowledge and practice around reading and writing. I meet with teams and individual teachers to plan for instruction. One way that we like to grow our knowledge is by meeting together monthly as a team to dive into best practices and plan for unit, lessons and conferences with students. In order to heighten this experience I would like to bring in some mentor texts and researchers to help us learn what the newest research is saying about literacy. This project is full of books and tools to help teachers to be ready with new learning for students in the fall.
