This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Working in a low-income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both inside and out of the classroom. Due to the many challenges they face, I strive to keep high energy and fun learning classroom, allowing them to experience new things.

As their music teacher, I am constantly providing them with upbeat, fun, and exciting opportunities they may not necessarily experience otherwise.

They love to sing, dance, and play instruments, but we are very limited with our resources. I would love to be able to improve their music education and performance experience by giving them basic tools to help them succeed.

My Project

Ever since the pandemic started, teachers have been literally re-creating the wheel. Finding new resources, finding new ways to teach, and essentially making all of our lessons accessible to the computer has been a struggle, to say the least.

My students will thrive having access to so many digital and hands-on materials.

They will be able to have a better understanding of the material by reinforcing their learning with worksheets, power points, and fun activities. They will be provided with differentiated materials, games, and more. By getting this project funded, all of my students will have resources that cater to their specific needs to make sure they can be the best they can be!
