This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a special education teacher. I am currently furthering my education by getting my Master's Degree while I teach. I also tutor on the side to help me grow in my career. Every day I go into my classroom, my students teach me as much as I teach them. I have learned that sensory items such as; diffusers and oils, as well as organizational items; such as paper, organizers, and velcro dots are essential for the success of my students. Items as such will help my students remain calm and on task.
