Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a diverse range of students in a less traditional setting than what one imagines for public schools in Texas.

My students are online learners who are looking for an educational structure that allows them to work at their own pace, while still receiving the support they need to meet their diverse needs.

My Project

The professional development sessions that I have signed up for are all virtual and will be conducted via Zoom or other online platform. They require lots of listening and participant engagement simultaneously.

The wireless headset will allow me to listen to and speak (when required) in my professional development sessions and mute myself with a quick click on the headset while having my hands free to take notes.

Being able to do this will allow me to get the most out of sessions and grow as a teacher resulting in better recall of the information from PD sessions and optimal implementation. The color printer will allow me to print full color copies of materials to engage in the professional development sessions and have detailed color notes to refer back to throughout the year. Being able to have physical copies of the professional development material and resources in color is helpful for me and allows me to organize everything in tabs in my teacher binder for easy access to the material I learn. This will aid me in studying and apply the information learned in professional development sessions.
