My Students

Hello! We are in full prep mode for our second-grade year and I'm still working to make sure our classroom is prepared for my returning students! We are all just so excited to come back to school and learn and have the opportunity to do so at the best school in town!

The majority of the students in our school come from low-income households and do not get many of the experiences many others are afforded.

Each and every year, I try to find ways to make learning engaging and fun so that they can have the best possible school year. My students have always been so eager about their learning and seem to have a genuine excitement about being at school each day. This year will look a little different to start but I am continuing to look for new things so their love of learning will continue to grow!

My Project

I love filling my classroom with things that my students can use each day to enhance their learning. With that, there are times that I am in need of items to continue to provide the very best for them. With the items I'm requesting, I will be able to continue that work.

Here is how each item will be used by our classroom!

The microphone will be used to help project my voice throughout our classroom, during fun activity times, and for students, who may have a softer voice, to use while sharing in front of the class. The paper cutter, Mavalus tape, and desktop calendar will each be used by me to help our classroom stay organized and running smoothly. I can create new projects, hang items securely, and keep all our extra activities organized. The books will be a great, unifying piece to help begin our year as we explore our differences and remember the things that unite us.
