This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am so excited for this upcoming school year! I will be teaching 5th grade students again! I love to work with 5th grade students because they comprehend and try to make efforts to complete a task if given the material to do so! The headphones will not only come in handy with progress monitoring but will also come in handy for ACAP and MAP testing. These tests are given 3 times a school year. The laptop will help me monitor the students progress when progress monitoring. It will also allow me to walk around the room and listen to recordings as the students read.

During MAP and ACAP testing, I will be able to monitor the students' progress and scores.

The shredder will help me obtain confidentiality for myself and each student. I will have hands-on access to shred students' IEPs, behavioral Health forms, etc.
