This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing students with the tools they need to feel successful is very important. Often times when my students have big feelings and are in need of a break, they often ask if they can go and draw. These donations will guarantee that all of my students will have a sketchbook to use when they need a break or have some extra time after completing assignments. Your donations will also help a teacher in a new classroom start with the basic supplies one needs to be successful in the classroom!
We are an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom of 22 students, about half of whom receive special education services.
Our students are eager to learn and need the resources in order to be successful in their studies! Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with most of our students receiving free lunch. My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them for the rest of the day!
From magnets to hole punchers, all of these items will play a vital role in my classroom this year and for future years. My students will use all of the supplies they are given to complete assignments in all subject areas. My students are amazing kids that work so hard, and I want to be able to give my class this year all of the resources that they need to have in the classroom.
These donations will guarantee that all of my students as well as the teachers have the supplies they need to succeed. Please help me to fill my classroom with all of the supplies I need!
