Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a selected a wide array of books and materials with the intention of creating a well-rounded collection to develop better understandings of our students and how to support them.

Behavior is communication, but sometimes it is difficult to decode.

No child is the same, so the more we learn and know about why a child does something or how to support them, the better educators we can be. These professional development books will be used to better both myself and my classroom staff.

Our classroom contains 12 students with varying levels of communication skills and behaviors. As adults, we are responsible for teaching students how to safely express their needs and redirect negative behaviors. The more we know, the more we can help! You never truly "master" teaching. There is always more to learn.
