My Students

My classroom is where my eighteen, eager and energetic kindergarteners ranging in age from five to six come to learn each day. My students have a love for learning and are super excited to become fluent readers. Because admission is based on a lottery, I have students from every corner of nearby communities. There is a wide range of diversity, which helps us all to learn from each other.

Their eagerness and creativity make me yearn to learn more and further my experience in education.

My students love hands-on learning and are huge on technology based activities.

My Project

As a teacher who has been teaching kindergarten for eighteen years, I am always looking for new and creative ways to deliver curriculum. I feel that being immersed in a four day conference with teachers for all over the nation, will open huge pathways for my learning and delivery of my futures lessons. There will be so many different teaching and learning styles that will be discussed that I will be able to incorporate into my classroom to reach all types of learners.

The Get Your Teach On Conference gathers all types of teachers who are looking to better themselves, their teaching practices and the education of their students.

The four day conference offers an amazing experience to learn from master-teachers in various training and research-based workshops that will guide me in rigorous and engaging lessons, along with Keynotes from influential educators and motivational speakers. These experiences will provide me with ready to use strategies that I can implement into my classroom the very next day.

My students will benefit from this training for years to come as I continue to learn effective ways to engage them and implement different learning strategies that will foster a love for learning.
