Teach Kids to Crochet!

Help me give my students a life long skills by providing crochet supplies and step by step video instructions.

My Project

Last year, I started a club based on some student interest on crochet. The club has grown, and it has been hard to keep up with all the students! For now, the club is limited to HS student as it is hard to help all the students at one time -- with some time and help, it can be extended to middle school. I would love to be able to provide my students a library of videos on how to crochet for all kids (right handed, left handed, kids who need videos at 0.5 x and slowly follows).

By funding this project, you will provide students an opportunity to learn a life-ling skill.

The goal is to provide students with a library of beginner to moderate projects that aren't too overwhelming for them to begin with. The wobbles have friendly beginner videos for both right and left-handed crocheters. I'm most interested in helping my left-handed students, as I struggled to replicate the process for them. It is also extremely hard for one teacher to check in with different individual projects with so many beginners and video instructions would be extremely helpful for them. Giving them wobbles project would give students some independence in the learning process and also give them a project that they can take home in a couple of weeks.
