My Project

Hello! First-year self-contained teacher here! At my school, self-contained is known as the total communications unit, and I will primarily be working with 9 rockstars who have autism. I've have had multiple opportunities to work with them and meet them last year while in a different role, and I am proud of the progress that they have made! I want to continue with those strides and implement materials that will allow my students to have access to visuals, and hands on activities that they can use to interact with our morning meeting and lessons throughout the day which will allow me to differentiate according to their needs. My students need binders, light covers, weighted lap pads, markers, and scissors.
