My Project

For the pilot Tattoo Appreciation and Design class, students will require LED tracing boards to enhance their learning experience and assist in building Tattoo Flash portfolios. These LED tracing boards provide a practical and efficient way for students to trace, refine, and create original tattoo designs. With adjustable brightness and a slim, portable design, the boards offer a clear, illuminated surface that supports detailed work, allowing students to focus on their artistic skills.

The Tattoo Appreciation and Design class is designed to meet Ohio State Standards for Secondary Visual Arts, promoting creative expression, critical thinking, and technical skills.

The LED tracing boards align with the standards by fostering students' ability to engage with various artistic techniques, from basic sketching to advanced design refinement. These tools will help students understand the technical aspects of tattoo design, including line work, shading, and composition, all while building their personal Tattoo Flash portfolios. Additionally, students will explore the historical, cultural, and aesthetic significance of tattoos, gaining a deeper appreciation for the art form.

Incorporating LED tracing boards into the curriculum will ensure students have the resources needed to develop their portfolios, sharpen their design skills, and cultivate an understanding of tattoo artistry that adheres to state visual arts standards.
