Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting support in acquiring retro NYC-themed cups to enhance a special retro breakfast dining experience for our students. As part of our efforts to create immersive, hands-on learning environments, this project aims to introduce students to the cultural history of New York City while fostering social interaction and building community in a fun and engaging way.

The iconic blue-and-white Greek diner cups, along with other vintage NYC-inspired drinkware, will not only add authenticity to the experience but also serve as conversation starters about the city's rich traditions and the role of neighborhood diners in community life.

By incorporating these small yet significant details, we hope to provide our students with a unique opportunity to step back in time and connect with their city's history.
