This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Science is a fascinating story within itself, I've noticed that my students get excited about bugs and nature.

I have 95% of economically disadvantage students.

I have eager students that want to experience more than whats offered to them at home. We are a public school that focus on high achievement and have high expectations. I have a culture of Hispanics and African American students.

My Project

I have a great opportunity to share some knowledge of science to a bunch of kids, that never thought they could have a career in science. Beginning with the interest of insects, leaves, grass and small things that sparked their interest. If the student are given the opportunity to observe these items on an intimate level with a Moticam, just maybe it will continue to ignite their interest in science. Activities will include observation, reporting as a scientist and producing a product to share with their peers. They will learn the skills of scientific investigations.

I know you probably hear all the time about disadvantage children ,but I have a group of students that yearn to know about life and how the advantages of an education can provide them with a better life.

Not only, for themselves but for society.
