Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our arts based public school, our middle school students have selected to learn tap dance. They are excited to learn new skills and technique, as well as the history and social context from which the dance form developed.

Please help me give every student the tools/shoes they need to succeed!

Class meets three times a week and students have already started learning fun dance combinations to music that is of interest to them. We can't wait to hear how it sounds with all students tapping together to the tunes!
