Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My school is a high poverty, high needs public school located in Brooklyn, New York. A school that is in dire need to your generous support to get our students the materials they need to grow from students to young adults.

Recent budget cuts have limited and constrained what our students can and cannot read. Students in my school chose "Tales from Shakespeare" by Charles Lamb to read but with the budget uts we were unable to purchase these books.

This title will allow students to explore the storylines that they may be unfamiliar with. Your help and your help alone will allow my students the opportunity to read this book.

Allow my students to read a book that they voted to read and a book that will allow them to prepare for college. This book will prepare get them through high school but it will prepare them for college instilling in them the necessary skills a college student needs to survive.
