Taking the Classroom Outdoors

Help me give my students bird feeding stations with bird seed, bird feeders, outdoor educational poster cabinet, and backyard birds of North America informational poster.

My Project

This project will aid the needs of our students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Depending on the age we will take a closer look at the birds. The poster will start our adventure into birds and their habitats. The outdoor weatherproof cabinet will be place in a central area outside. This cabinet will house this poster and more to come. It will allow the students to visit this poster during their recess time and walking into the school. The bird feeders will be placed around the campus to allow easy access to their observations.

It is my goal to encourage the students to walk past the bird feeders weekly to add to their journals.
