This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a Title I school, I face many challenges to help my students succeed. However, each student that enters my classroom has such a love of learning and a desire to be successful. Inside the classroom, I have students from multiple grade levels at the same time. Station-based learning is consistently going on to meet the needs of the students.

These incredible learners are scientists, mathematicians, authors, readers, engineers, and thinkers.

Your donation will help these little minds access resources and technology to improve their learning on a daily basis. Each student comes in with different backgrounds, interests, and language abilities. Meeting their individual needs is my goal. Your generosity will help my students and me achieve new goals.

My Project

Learning and classroom environments changed dramatically during the current pandemic. Thanks to generous donations, we are building a one-to-one device classroom. This means that each student has their own iPad, case, and digital stylus to use during the school day. Many assignments and activities require digital tools. This has made a huge impact on student learning. Students are able to collaborate with their peers even if they are working in the classroom and their partner is learning at home. However, having a protective case and keyboard make that learning even easier.

Using the Logitech keyboard cases and Logitech Crayons, students will be able to have a touch screen, laptop replacement that will be working for years to come to use with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Nearpod, and so many more digital platforms.

Students use these iPads, cases, and digital crayons to create stories, practice math skills, use interactive science labs, and so much more. The keyboards allow for students to develop typing skills while expressing their ideas and demonstrate learning. I have two more iPads that only need the cases and Crayons to allow more students access to a whole new way of learning and developing 21st Century skills.
