My Project

The students at my school work hard every day. We set goals and put first things first to achieve them. Sometimes, when we are so focused on our work and tasks that need to be completed, we forget that we also need to spend time taking care of our minds and our bodies.

Yoga is a practice that will help students to not only develop strength and flexibility in their bodies but also peace and happiness in their minds.

This year, my school will be offering students the opportunity to join enrichment clubs! For my club, we will spend time learning about the history and benefits of Yoga and practicing different poses, and will need mats. We will also spend time taking mindful moments and reflecting on our practices.

These materials will help my enrichment club be successful in Sharpening the Saw and taking care of ourselves in a meaningful, healthy way.
