Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I care about the health and wellbeing of all of my students. Part of keeping them healthy is making sure our school clinic has exactly what it needs on hand. Part of that is accomplished by keeping gloves (to protect them and me) and bandages in stock. By using gloves on a daily basis while taking care of students injuries, bloody noses, etc. (like I would in any other healthcare setting) the nurse and staff can help protect students (and themselves) against germs and infections. While practicing this simple precaution will provides them a barrier from germs for other people's germs, a Band-Aid applied to a cut or abrasion after cleansing the affected area can also keep germs away until the wound has had a chance to scab over.
