My Students

My second-grade class has 32 students in it. My students are eager to learn, enjoy school, and are motivated to succeed. They love to use their imagination and grow as learners. We are a large school with over 1,000 students. We are a Title I school and all of the students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of the students in my school are English as a second language learners.

We have many different languages spoken in my school. My students come to school with big smiles and are ready to learn and achieve great things!

My Project

Help my students get folktale and fairytale books. We are starting a new unit this year where my students will be reading folktale and fairytale books. We unfortunately have a very limited supply of them in the classroom and I need to make photocopies of the books we have. That is not very engaging and exciting. I would love to have more "real" books for my class to read and enjoy.

Please help fill our classroom with books!
