Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, from the Heart-to-Heart club, an afterschool club dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies at our high school!

Many LGBTQ+ youth face unique challenges and struggles that can impact their mental health and well-being.

Our afterschool club aims to offer a safe and inclusive environment where students can come together, support each other, and learn important skills for self-care and mental wellness.

I am reaching out for your help to provide some supplies for our students to help them unwind from the stressors of the day by focusing on their mental health. With your support, we hope to acquire some games, supplies and snacks, because after a long day, the students are hungry(!), journals and art materials, for students to write out their emotions in their own creative way, as well as some anxiety relief toys!

Providing these supplies and resources could help to boost student mental well-being. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members.
