My Students

My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. They come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their small community.

Many of my students are having some difficulties learning just online and need more support at this time.

Many depend on worksheet packets and whatever books they have at home. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners.

My Project

Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in New York City and I can not enter the school building to get some of my materials. My student need snacks to keep their bellies full, pencils, dry erase boards and markers, printed worksheets to practice their skills (I will print and mail).

My students need to remain engaged during the summer months.

My students need these tools for visual and hands-on learning that make live lessons fun and exciting! I will make packages for all 11 kids and mail them to their individual homes.
