My Project

We will use the rug during whole group math instruction as well as whole group reading instruction. During these times, the students collaborate with each other about math strategies and asking/ answering questions about reading comprehension. We will also sit on the rug during our daily meetings when we problem solve together.

We will also use this rug during our morning meeting when we come together as a community of learners and a classroom family to discuss, talk about our emotions, and reflect on our learning.

Our morning meeting time is a very crucial time to building strong relationships in our classroom and these rugs will help us come together as a whole group of learners to get to know one another and build closer bonds as a classroom family.
