My Project

I can't wait to see my second graders picking out books and reading them on the carpet in our comfy class library nook. It's important my class can have the freedom to choose what they are interested in and be exposed to different texts.

I discovered the joy of reading in second grade, thanks to my second-grade teacher.

During my last six months of teaching at another campus, I also found that my fourth graders improved significantly when they chose the book from the library instead of being confined to leveled texts. Help me give my students a Grade 2 Classic Grade Level Library Collection, Leveled Reading Best Sellers, A Little Spot of Emotion Box Set, and more. If you love reading, you'll never stop learning; the sky is the limit!
