My Students

This year I am teaching Science to k-5. My students are always curious and always eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. Some of my students come from disadvantaged neighborhoods and have minimal knowledge of science materials and tools.

It is very challenging and time-consuming to create resources and instructional materials from scratch.

I will use the resources through donorschoose.org in our classroom daily to develop and enhance their science skills. As we all know, the enthusiasm for Science starts at a very young age. My dream is to provide them with all the necessary tools and expose them to different materials we can use to learn about science topics.

Teachers Pay Teachers platform contains numerous resources already created by teachers, which I can easily use to enhance my students' learning and meet their needs. I also would like to have resources available that I could share with the parents to support their child's learning at home.

My Project

As a Science Teacher teaching students k-5, I struggle to find ways to differentiate or enrich lessons. I have over 300 students, and it is very challenging and time-consuming to create resources to support their learning.

With the money to spend on TPT, I can purchase high-quality, ready-made instructional materials and activities to promote their learning.

I often use targeted and differentiated materials I buy on Teachers Pay Teachers. There are pre-made, so they allow me to focus on planning actual instruction instead of making my own activities and materials from scratch. I also aim to send resources home so the parents can also support their child's learning.
