My Project

My third graders are an amazing bunch! The students that I teach are diverse learners. My class consists of students from a variety of cultural backgrounds, students with disabilities, and a large percentage of English language learners.

These tablets and headphones would be a very beneficial addition to our classroom.

During math and word work, students are learning through centers. My students love to learn this way! One of the centers is independent while the other two are run by myself and my co-teacher. The independent center is usually technology based. Our classroom is lucky enough to have 5 of the Fire Tablets which have been a wonderful addition to our classroom. However, with our class size we need two more tablets to have enough for the groups. Additionally, many of our students do not have sturdy headphones and instead use old, tangled ones.

The students in my class would benefit greatly from two more tablets and new headphones.
