My Project

I’m a second-grade teacher in Oklahoma and committed to teaching bell to bell while keeping my students entertained and engaged.

Before teaching in SE Oklahoma, I had never seen so much generational poverty.

A lot of my kids do not even have WiFi at home. My school district has provided enough Chromebooks for about half of my class, but I want everyone to not only enjoy the many educational games that are available but have access to technology (these tablets will stay in the classroom). Kids think playing educational computer games is a treat and don’t even know they are learning. It’s a great way to reward and entice them to finish their work or take a brain break!
