My students need six Fire Tablets to allow them to learn in their own ways. The tablets will be used to allow students to go on their interventions to create a stronger reader.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 3rd graders need every opportunity to achieve. They live in a low socioeconomic area of Kensington in the city of Philadelphia. They are surrounded in a world where these children see and hear things that no one should. Our goal is to have all students on-level in both reading and math. Sadly, majority of my students are very low, with little support from home.
My students are eager and ready to learn on a daily basis regardless of what is happening in their lives.
These students are determined to rise, they have goals that they want to achieve!
My Project
My students need six Fire Tablets to allow them to learn in their own ways. The tablets will be used to allow students to go on their interventions to create a stronger reader. Having a set of Fire Tablets will allow my students for the differentiated instruction that is so needed. On these tablets, my students will be able to do their individual interventions, allow them to learn and review skills and concepts being taught and previously taught by visiting apps that are student friendly. Students will be able to work one-to-one with a tablet or even in small group learning centers. Additionally, students will also be able to learn using the technology in which they know best!
My project will make a difference because I have students who want to achieve and succeed but need the resources to help them do so!
