My Project

Prek students learn best through play and hands-on exploration. They use toys to create, experiment, and imagine. The best toys are ones they are interested in and excited about. We are at a point in the year where our current toys need a refresh. We have put together this project to purchase new and engaging toys for 3 PreK classes!

They are used to count, sort, build, stack, and connect.

These materials also provide opportunities to use expressive language, share and collaborate. Playing with table toys also exercises the fine motor skills of young children. These tiny muscles are the foundation for many future school and life skills, like zipping, buttoning, typing, and writing. We are also purchasing locker shelves to make organizing and storing these new materials easy and convenient.
