My Project

My students are preschool-aged and have special needs. They are developing their play, social-emotional, motor, problem-solving, and communication skills. One area of the classroom that has garnered their attention has been our tabletop toys. However, we currently lack sufficient materials to effectively foster the learning of these skills in this center. Additionally, we lack sufficient materials to engage them in a diverse range of activities, which can potentially diminish their interest in the various materials.

The materials proposed for this project will enable us to enhance communication, social, motor, problem-solving, and functional play skills with our students by aligning them with their interests.

When students express interest in specific materials, we can support their growth by utilizing those materials as preferred tools in child-led learning.
