Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Our Pre Kindergarten students all qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Our campus is historic as it once was the African American High School for our district!
Pre Kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals.
Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our group loves to work with the teacher on various skills that involve table time.
My Project
Since my classroom is made up in large part of English language learners and socioeconomically disadvantaged students, it is crucial to be able to have differentiated instruction for all students.
The U Shaped Table will be used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and teacher instruction of small groups.
This U Shaped Table will give students the opportunity for individual instruction and monitoring for comprehension. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work when they have a comfortable space to work.
My students are excited to work with the teacher on various learning activities and this table will provide a great area for us to all learn together.
