My Project

In our classroom, we do a lot of small-group learning. My co-teacher and I meet with small groups of students throughout the day in subjects such as reading, writing, and math. Currently, our classroom only has rectangular tables that each seat about 4 students. Having a rectangular table for small groups makes it difficult to effectively teach the small group. It is difficult to see student work from across the table and it is difficult for our students to be able to interact with the teacher and each other. This table will allow us to space out the students around the table. In addition, we will be able to reach over comfortably during instruction and conference with each student without disrupting the whole group.

Please help give our students a small group table to be able to effectively participate in small group instruction.
