We were blessed with support through Donors Choose and were able to get a Nintendo Switch OLED for the classroom. We were also blessed by the generosity of a parent with the donation of a second Switch OLED. We are now stuck due to the limited amount of memory on the systems themselves
We are looking for support to get a memory card for each Nintendo Switch OLED game system as this will allow students to continue their desire to improve their behaviors, as well as continue developing appropriate social interactions.
Since the implementation of the Nintendo Switch OLED game systems in our behavior plans, there has been a significant reduction in negative behaviors demonstrated by the students. The positive change has not been limited to just a few students, but all that is in our special education classroom.
We appreciate all of the previous support with the original Nintendo Switch OLED project. Again, the implementation of the Switch has had such a significant impact on behaviors in a positive way, it has been an amazing transformation noticed by all involved. We hope that we are able to get support on this project so we may have the ability to offer the students a larger selection of games and it continues to be a desirable reward.
