Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The girls on our softball team, The Storm, are determined, talented athletes who face challenges both on and off the field. Coming from a tough neighborhood, they use softball as a lifeline, a place to build confidence, foster teamwork, and dream of a brighter future. Despite their passion and dedication, they often lack the resources available to teams in better-funded programs.

We are requesting a professional fastpitch softball bat that will make a tangible difference in their development as athletes.

This high-quality bat is specifically designed to maximize speed, power, and control, allowing our girls to hit farther and harder than ever before. With the right tools, they’ll not only improve their skills but also gain the confidence to push past limits they didn’t think possible.

Our goal for this project is to level the playing field for our team. By equipping them with a professional-grade bat, we can ensure they have the same opportunities as their peers in more privileged programs. This bat will allow them to refine their swing mechanics, build strength, and see measurable improvements in their performance, all while inspiring a deeper love for the game.

What makes our team special is their resilience and determination. These girls face obstacles daily, yet they show up to practice ready to work hard and support one another.

By funding this project, you’ll provide our team with more than a bat, you’ll give them the tools to dream big and the confidence to know they can achieve greatness.
