Help me give my students a true sensory experience! My students love to swing and the only access they have to a swing is outside and used by everyone. I wish they had their own!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a swing within my Autism Classroom will be life-changing for ALL of my students! The motion of swinging is so satisfying for my little ones…. It truly calms and soothes them and helps them to have a much more focused learning experience especially immediately following this type of sensory break! It is very hard to always have to go outside and when it’s winter or raining out it is impossible! I have tried so many other ways to meet their sensory needs but swinging is what they enjoy the most! Please help me help them! They are so precious!
