Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working toward a common goal...success in math! They are rewarded monthly for completing in-class activities, and homework on a virtual platform as well as success on assessments.

Monthly each teacher in the school elects a student of the month.

That student receives a written award, a t-shirt, and their choice of candy.

The candy in this project, Twizzlers, Sour Patch Kids, M & M's will all be used as prizes to incentivize the students to compete for the monthly award. This project is inspired to continue to motivate our struggling math students to push themselves.

We will use the griddle to make pancakes for the monthly celebration for math to provide care for their mental progress.

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
